Body Contouring
Body contouring, in a HIFU context, is the use of focused ultrasound on areas beyond the face — commonly the abdomen, thighs, and arms — to tighten skin and support a firmer, more defined shape. The mechanism draws on the same principles used facially: focused ultrasound energy directed into the subcutaneous layer can tighten the fibrous septa running through fat tissue and stimulate collagen in the skin above it, which together can contribute to a firmer, more contoured appearance in the treated area over time. This is a skin-tightening and firming effect rather than a fat-reduction procedure in the surgical or medical sense, and results depend on factors like skin elasticity and the area treated. ULTRAISER P1 and P1 Pro are designed primarily for facial use, though the 4mm cartridge has also been used by some customers on body areas with reported tightening effects — anyone considering this should use the deeper cartridge and follow the device's instructions for body application specifically.
